Compare Pros and Cons: My Pillow Topper vs Memory Foam Topper vs Tempurpedic Topper

My Pillow Topper Pros

Christopher Carlson says that he enjoys the Pillow Topper. It didn’t totally help his hips, but is somewhat better than a whole new costly mattress. He recommends it as a stop-gap, before making a very expensive investment.

Brett Ferguson says – “The mattress topper was just to firm for us, we like a really soft mattress. We tried it is because we have a very firm mattress and the pad we have slides all over. This one stayed on very well and is very well made but it was just too firm for us”.

My Pillow Topper Cons

Suzanne Hayes writes that it is like sleeping on a plank. She wakes up with pressure spots on her hips.
Constance Aguilar claims that it is very firm and hurts her back and between her shoulders.

Harry Rodriguez says that he put the mattress topper over an existing box type mattress that was a little hard, the topper helped little but not enough to be worth the price. It leaves an indent and flattens where you sleep.

Jenny Ryan says- “I bought this mattress topper for 2 reasons; 1. It said it would keep you cool. It does not! 2. Bought it to get support for my hips and shoulders as I sleep on my side. This feature works to a degree however you could find one that is less expensive to do the same thing.

Cesar George says that it is too firm. It does not absorb the pressure on joints like hips and shoulders, and he often wakes up with aches in those areas.

SleepJoy 3″ ViscO2 Ventilated Memory Foam Topper Pros

Kim Hayes writes- “I placed it underneath my mattress cover so it isn’t as fluffy. The smell is still there but it isn’t as strong and it’s going away. When I lay down on it I don’t sink in, it supports me perfectly. I can lay on it in any position and be comfortable.

Levi Howell says- “I bought this for my sofa bed and it’s awesome. This memory foam topper has transformed my sofa bed into a bed I can look forward to!

Ted Rios writes- “With the new topper there was no tossing and turning, just a deep slumber that I hadn’t had in months. It has a fair balance of softness with support without being mushy and swallowing you up when you lie down”.

SleepJoy 3″ ViscO2 Ventilated Memory Foam Topper Cons

Ernest Carr says- “I am a side sleeper and struggle with my arms falling asleep thus contributing to bad posture and shoulder issues. I purchased this to see if it would help. It did not solve all of my problems, but it did help. It is soft and I do sink in a bit more. It has minimized some of my shoulder problems, which is good, but it’s definitely not a complete fix.

Cheryl Mathis says- “It does not fit the twin bed completely. There is about a half inch gap on each side and several inches on the top and bottom. It moves. For some reason this does not stay in place.

Tempur-Pedic Mattress Topper Pros

Darrel Evans says that he purchased this due to moderate – severe back pain. He gives it 4 stars out of 5 because this topper still sleeps a bit hot. Not piping hot, or where you’re drenched in sweat hot, but a bit warm. I wouldn’t say this took ALL the pain in my back away, but getting up in the morning is about 85% easier and with less issues / pain than before.

Beverly Rodriguez says – “I would recommend it to others who are looking to relieve whatever pain (neck, back, hip, etc.) they may have while sleeping or those just looking to refresh their current mattress with a updated fit / feel.”

Candace Pope says – “Worked very well for me. This topper does allow your body to sink when sitting on it, but will conform comfortable to your body when you lie down.”

Tempur-Pedic Mattress Topper Cons

Wilson Sims says- “It moves so you will have to adjust it if you and your mate roll in your sleep. Could use straps maybe to prevent it from sinking in middle”.
