My Pillow REVIEW | MyPillow EXPOSED!!!

What is My Pillow?

Do you wake up every morning with a stiff neck, numb fingers and sore arms but cannot figure out why this is happening to you? Do you also often sleep with your arm under your head to work as a pillow and overturn your pillow a number of times because it heats up? Does all this make your toss and turn in your bed all night depriving you of fitful sleep that is so important for your health? In all likelihood it is your pillow that is causing you all the trouble.

My Pillow REVIEW

A user of My Pillow, Rosa, writes in her review that this is one of the worst products and at par with or even worse than a cheaper pillow bought from a dollar store. She adds that she didn’t take long to realize that the pillow was not worth anything and didn’t even bother putting the second of the two pillows in the dryer. Rosa warns customers against wasting their time and money on buying this pillow. Another customer AJ says that it’s just a piece of cloth overstuffed with cheap sponge. He adds that his friend bought 2 of these and AJ dumped it away immediately. The pillow is cheap and just a profit making scam.

Reviewer Sally writes that she bought two pillows for $100 for herself and her husband but felt scammed as soon as they opened the package. Still wanting to give the pillow a chance, they decided to use it for a few days. But her husband found it very uncomfortable and flung it across the room, while her ear goes numb after 10 minutes on it. They were sending the pillows back and think it’s even worth paying shipping and waiting a month to get money back. She adds that no one should waste their money on this.

Another user Gus feels that he was scammed with the pillow. He was under the impression that he was buying 2 pillows for $19.99 but the Terms & Conditions in the fine print on the website states that they will be only trying the pillow for the price and 30 days later his credit card was charged for additional $159. The user filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau but nothing came of it and was short of $19.00 and for $179 it is a total rip off. But he did not return the item after reading about reported cases of non-refund and didn’t want to further lose money. For a customer of MyPillow, Dale, it was one of the worst pillows he has ever bought and not worth the money he paid for the pillow. Dale adds that the general quality of the pillow is bad and it seems only worth $ 8. The pillow, according to him, is flat and does not stay cool like it claims.

Reviewer Wendy states that her MyPillow does not stay cool and she has to flip to the cool side. It also goes flat and she has to fluff often through the night. The pillow did not help numbness in her arm and hand, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone especially for the price. Another customer DeeLee says that buying the pillow as a mistake even though she bought it to help her stiff neck. She thought the pillow worked great for the first couple of months. She followed the washing instructions that stated to wash or dry it every few months but within a year it has turned into a hard brick. She adds that she wakes up multiple times in the night to make it fluffy again but it is back to feeling rock hard again within no time. This was the first time she bought an infomercial product but might be the last because of the price and she thinks it is a total rip-off.

A customer Patrick Dillon calls MyPillow a terrible pillow, especially for the cost of $70+. The pillow lumped badly and was hot. He got used to it after several nights of use. But it turned very hard and lumpy within a few months. When he called customer service for replacement he was told about the complex maintenance that requires placing the pillow in the washing machine and following specific procedures, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the infomercial or in the instructions for care. He was refused a refund and the customer care was rude. He further adds that the 10 year warranty was worthless and the promoters refused to honor the warranty claiming that the user didn’t follow the maintenance requirements. Patrick states that he bought a replacement pillow for less than $20 and it is better than MyPillow as it doesn’t require a difficult re-conditioning process every few weeks. He urges customers to not buy MyPillow.

How does MyPillow work?

The way most pillows available in the market are designed, they go flat in a couple of months resulting in uncomfortable sleepless nights, which does more harm to your health than you can image – like snoring and sleep apnea and the aftermath of these problems – migraines, restless leg syndrome, fibromyalgia, insomnia and even asthma. If you’re looking to put an end to all these problems then look no further. You have MyPillow to help you get a goodnight’s sleep.

Created and manufactured by Michael J Lindell, who was himself a victim of sleeplessness caused by substandard pillows, MyPillow is the most comfortable, durable and healthiest pillow you could ask for. It supports the nerves in your neck, which in turn supports the nerves in your arms, torso, and legs. Other pillows do not support your vertebrae completely but using MyPillow supports your C-1 and C-2 vertebrae and lets your nerves rest and restore completely.

One of the reasons for that is the patented medical stuffing that keeps the pillow naturally cool. What’s more the pillow is dust mite resistant, easily washable and also non-allergenic. Using the pillow will get rid of all sleep related problems because it adjusts according to your comfortable position and keeps the cervical nerves in place while also keeping them cool and calm. This helps in beating stress and anxiety that you might be facing through the day.

What is that mystery 3-piece “Interlocking fill”

We tried to search for the MyPillow filling material of the interlocking fill but couldn’t find it on the official website This is where you should get a hint that something is fishy. Then we dug deeper and found the secret ingredient fill material on the My Pillow Patent’s page here. Basically these fillings are a proportionate mix of open-cell poly-foam (Polyurethane) pieces in 3 sizes.

We American’s fall to these high-sounding sci-fi phrases and get carried away believing everything they say. We are not saying that the pillow is a total waste but it is certainly not what they portray it to be. It may be a good pillow but certainly not a miracle. Here are some stats, MyPillow has over 4000 reviews on out of which 1256 (32%) reviews are critical while the rest are in the favor of the pillow.

Recently threatened to lodged a formal complaint with FTC against the unsubstantiated claims made by MyPillow and they had to take down all the false advertisement.

MyPillow’s Cooling Effect

Sleep loss can be caused by various reasons but the primary reason that everyone tends to ignore is a lack of cooling in the cervical nerves that get pressed against the pillow and do not get enough cooling and ventilation making you flip your pillow to the cooler side and disturbing your sleep.

MyPillow Cooling Effect cools the cervical nerves with its patented 100 % cotton fill and ensures that the user gets peaceful sleep. It contains open cell poly-foam which has a natural and built in effect to provide cooling unlike cooling zipper covers that fail to provide comfort.

  1. We purchased the BOGO sale. Our pillows were super hot, uncomfortable and smelled caustic. When washing them according to the directions, they barely dried and smelled caustic to the point of making us sick to our stomachs. Tried putting them in double pillow covers and still the smell was sickening. Had to bag them up and throw them away, the chemical smell was too much and couldn’t bear laying on them in any position. Something is wrong that they smell so terrible. No debates on this we were ripped off.

  2. I have had my MyPillow for 1 night and already i can tell that i can answer most the problems in these comments with simple human error. Pillow must be dried in dryer for only 15 mins. Not all MyPillows are the same. If one does not work try a higher fill or lower fill. I decided to really research my pillows before i bought them. I bought 3 types and am going to try them all. Last night was the most firm pillow and while it’s to much fill for me it was a better sleep than i am use to getting. Ty

  3. I can’t believe the people in this country are buying this product, it causes more neck pain than it prevents, this guy is a crook for lack of a better word.

  4. Educated consumer | 8th July 2019 at 6:07 am | Reply

My pillow is one of the most bogus companies around. My patented fill, look it up, it’s an extra peice of foam. Big deal. These pillows are worse than the cheapest Walmart pillows you can buy. Lindell financed his crack habbit on the backs of ignorant consumers.

  5. I’ve had a my pillow for a while now and for the past two weeks or so I’ve woken up with light neck pain or my fingers asleep. This morning I wake up with such bad neck pain that I can’t even turn my head all the way to the right. This pillow is absolute trash.

  6. After washing both MyPillows (according the manufacturer’s instructions to the T), the product came out of the dryer unusable. The interlocking foam “expanded and hardened;” like attempting to sleep on a mound of dirt. Complete and utter RIP OFF.

  7. When I first bought Andy used the My Pillow, it took some getting used to as I didn’t realize YOU need to work it a bit (I punch it a few times) before it feels comfortable. I purchased mine from QVC and cost about $30. People who are paying $99 you’re getting ripped off! Take five minutes and do a little research online for god sake. Google “my pillow“ and see where the different options to buy are in the best prices! QVC is always running specials every couple of months, so wait till one of those comes around. I have gone through so many foam and feather pillows, Tempur-pedic, etc. and none of them help my neck that is bothered by spinal stenosis. My Pillow is the first pillow I can conform comfortably to my neck and once I figured out the punching down routine to get it molded just right, I have the best night sleep ever!

I have had a itching rash on both sides of my face and ears since I’ve been sleeping with My Pillow. I’ve even bought 2 different pillow cases and still itching. It’s the pillow causing it. Not worth it!!

  9. I received my mypillow last yr for Christmas from my oldest daughter. The 1st night I slept on it I woke up with a migraine. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings and not use it so I just kept it on my bed. Lately I tried sleeping with it again and Everytime I do I’m waking up with a migraine. It even gives me a migraine when I use it for back support and not sleep on it. Waste of money.

  10. Some of these comments seen politically based….someone even made a comment about his cross. What the heck does that have to do with the product. Rhetorical.

  11. Sarah Hartfield | 18th November 2018 at 2:33 pm | Reply

We bought these pillows. Ever since I purchased them, my sleep is interrupted many times each night. with what seems like a very hot lazer beam heating up the back of my head and neck. I then waked soaked. I first thought this was due to my health. But all things have checked out. It is the pillow. Now I need to find a better pillow. Thinking going back to down, even though how to get the down feathers really suck. Uggh.. so much money wasted.

    • I could not figure out why I had a rash in the form of tiny blisters on the back of my neck and not ony that I was just itching..scratching all the time. I started thinking about it and it was right after I started using My Pillow. I have never really been sensitive to anything! I started reading and there are so many people that have had reactions to this product. I am not using it any longer. I did not find it anymore comfortable than a high quality less expensive pillow anyway. Polyurethane… no wonder I am having a reaction….

  12. I really liked sleeping on my pillow but I started waking up several times a night with very dry eyes,a very dry throat and woke upon the morning with a very crusty nose. Bought extra solid shut pillow cases, no difference. Anyone else?

  13. Best pillow I have ever owned! No more headaches in the morning.

  14. I totally disagree. I have tried many pillows and MY PILLOW is the best one I have found. I don’t care if it has low cost fill in it, Mike is the one who put it all together and capitalism at it’s best, set the price. I have 3 my pillows due to having a few surgeries and they are adjustable to my needs. If it starts getting flat in the dryer it goes for 5 min and lasts for a couple weeks. I do not get hot in the middle of the night anymore either. Try washing your other pillows every 2 weeks and see how long they lasts.

  15. i don’t shop Whole Foods because its CEO believes health care is a privilege. same with Papa John’s. then there’s this right wing extremist.
i don’t have one of these pillows but i did have a Sleep Number ~$1,500 mattress which is actually two air mattresses with a foam topper. are you kidding me? so My Pillow is a foam pillow but the foam has been chopped up or shredded. $99.99? hell no.

    • YOU_PAY_FOR_YOUR_OWN_HEALTHCARE | 17th July 2018 at 3:35 pm | Reply

Health care is not a “privilege” any more than buying clothes or food is a “privilege”. You socialists who believe “government” is somehow obligated to provide everything you need and want “free” are idiots. NOTHING is ever “free” – someone has to pay for it.

“Government” is US, the taxpayers, and I don’t owe you a damned dime for your health care.

We all have to eat. We all need clothes. At one point or another, we’ll all need health care. It’s up to YOU, as an individual, to plan your life so that you will have money to pay for your needs. It’s not “someone else’s” responsibility – IT’S YOURS. Quit your whining and take a little personal responsibility for yourself

      • you're_an_actual_monster | 11th March 2019 at 5:44 pm | Reply

lol the US healthcare system is a complete mess. In single payer countries, healthcare ends up being vastly cheaper. And we aren’t the US government, dude. Nobody’s taking money out of your wallet to pay for things. That’s not how taxes work. It’s obvious and sad that your civics education stops at high school.

Anyway, selfish, entitled, hateful people like you who believe everyone should be charged for the oxygen they breathe just because some little rich kid lays claim to the air deserve to get very, *very* sick. I’d love to see you cretins have to rely on the US healthcare system. Then you’d change your elitist tune.

  16. I have bought several My pillows. Not realizing the heat it was producing, the chemicals is gave out and my ear goes to sleep. I have asthma and I’m pissed now!! Hope they lose their butts in court!!!!

  17. My eyes had a reaction. There were red circles that swelled above my eyelids, then peeled. Very annoying. Got rid of older make-up, facial lotion, eye creams etc. and still happened at least 3 times, each time taking a week to clear up.
Not totally sure if it was the My Pillow. This could have been a reaction to something else but now afraid to use again.

  18. My main concern is the health risk in using a polyurethane product. After washing My Pillows with Dr. Bonner’s and baking soda, safe non toxic products, the pillows gave off a very strong chemical smell. Filled the room with the smell. I believe the deodorant they used was removed when I washed it leaving the urethane smell to escape. I don’t want anyone to get any related disease from this off gassing. Asthma, lung cancer and loss of sleep etc. to name a few.
My Pillow would not refund because it was past the 6 month return policy. I believe this product should be taken off the market for health reasons.

  19. I don’t have one of these pillows but it looks very lumpy in the commercial and the people they show laying on it aren’t really laying on it, you can tell they’re holding their heads up. I’d never pay that kind of money for a pillow. I bought my memory foam pillows for $10 a piece and I’d never use anything else. The crap this man says about memory foam in the informercial is not true. Mine supports my neck and head and I always wake up feeling great and I’ve been using memory foam for years. For the price he charges he needs to come to my house and fluff and turn it for me every night.

I found out that Mike does not exist. I bought six for Christmas gifts and another four for my family. Everyone including myself after a few days wanted them returned. Terrible chemical odor and extremely hot. I have nothing good to say about My Pillow. Contacted customer service and was treated like I was the issue for buying them. Absolutely reverse phycology and attempting to extort and keep my money. I am not one to file a lawsuit but as a retired person I will not be taken advantage of. I am working with several to start a class action lawsuit. I have started the process to get a deposition. This is a corporation not dear old Mike. The commercials are bogus and intended to brainwash the public. I have sent one of the pillows to a ATSM lab to be broken down to issue a full report of the contents. I have heard that the inner foam may cause cancer. I know that a cost survey presented a total cost less handling and shipping of approximately less than two dollars per pillow. What a huge bottom line. I learned that beside the advertising cost that their legal and customer service department was the biggest expense. Furthermore on average less than ten percent of buyers actually got some kind of discounted refund. Actually they are making a ton of money just for a refund that once received is sold again. Hopefully the public will come forward and stop this scam. Honestly the YO YO was a better deal. I have started a movement to shut down My Pillow by getting them in a court or law. Please call them everyday and give it back. The phony adds must be stopped. I got ripped off…

      • You tell ’em! Lindell is a JOKE and I’m sick of all the commercials. Goddamn right, time to fight back!

      • I wish you luck. I have had two years of hell seeing doctor’s every month from February 2017 until the middle of 2019 due to a allergic reaction to that pillow. I currently still have to see a ENT specialist every three months due to my out break in my ears.

  20. Best pillow I’ve ever used. Completely lives up to advertising.

Who is lying….you or 150 customers here who complain against this shit pillow.

      • Michael Chappell | 6th February 2018 at 1:43 am | Reply

It is well known that My Pillow has robots claiming how great their pillow is. Actual cost to assemble is less than two dollars per pillow. I have sent a My Pillow to ASTM to break one down and provide a detailed report on exactly what is in each one. I spoke with a ex employee who claimed that rats den up in all areas of the assembly plant. Very nasty and gross. Another customer claims that the chemical odor is a agent to kill mice and rats. Hopefully a answer will come soon. I have read several reviews that claim the pillows get hot . This could be related to very harmful chemicals that produce heat when laid on for a couple of hours. This could be a major reaction with body heat. This guy Mike does not exist it is a large corporation brain washing with excessive advertising. If the product were as good as the claim it wouldn’t need ten percent of what is happening. Every major channel showing MY Pillow 24/7. Wake up and start a movement to stop this now.

    • Last night I tried this pillow out….woke up with noticeable improvement in my neck/upper back. I am concerned about whether or not the fill is toxic….not noticing much of a chemical smell as others have described.

  21. I got my pillow for Christmas, and I’m ok with it so far. My only problem is that my head gets very hot at night.

  22. It’s great to prop my wife on if u know what I mean.

  23. kristin k william | 22nd November 2017 at 12:35 pm | Reply

Considering you can try the pillow out at Walmart, you can avoid choosing a pillow that is completely wrong for you, but because selection is limited at Walmart, you still might be unable to find the perfect model in stock.

  24. Worst pillow ever! Don’t waste your money. My neck hurt after two days use. I tried putting it in the dryer again but it still caused pain. I put the overpriced (and under performing) pillows in the guest room and went to Target and got two proper pillows.

  25. My pillow is a scam! It is just cheap filler promoted by scam artists. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

  26. not at all what I expected, a waste of a 100.00 in fact my neck is worst.

  27. not at all what I expected, a waste of a 100.00 in fact my neck is worst.

  28. I have two My Pillows and when I take them out of the dryer they have a very strong chemical smell which concerns me that they many be toxic.

  29. What a crappy piece of crap pillow. The dude just wants to make money that’s all he’s in for. Don’t waste your money folks please it’s a piece of crap pillow. You’re better off sleeping on a box of rocks.

  30. I was really happy to buy my first “My Pillow”. I found it comfortable but the chemical odor after I washed and dried it is not good.
The fill is supposed to be 100% cotton but I’ve never smelled cotton that has a pungent chemical odor.
I’ve got a constant nasal congestion and cough.
I’m really considering to dispose of it.

WORST PILLOW EVER! Filled with crap, it sucks around your face when side sleeping. Filler is like little balls of shit … Even firmer it would be awful because of how it comes around your head when sleeping. The best part, the kid on the phone never said I had to pay to ship it back. That is the scam; you pay to ship this piece of crap back!

  32. This pillow is horrible. It’s like sleeping on a 12 pack of cokes. My neck, shoulders and back hurt severely after the first use. What a scam!!!

  33. Thank Goodness other people hate this pillow….because I keep trying it and it just makes me crazy and I did the same thing…. Opened one and put it in the dryer….and tried it – and tossed it on the floor…it was a big lump of lumps…. It felt like it needed to have a hole punched in the covering to let out the air…because it’s lumpy, bumpy and filled with air…and sssooo uncomfortable. I’ve gone back to my down pillow…now that is heaven!! What a waste of a LOT of money….sigh…

  34. After purchasing this snake oil pillow, I returned it. I started getting migraines and stiff neck when I slept. After talking to my chiropractor, he said to throw the pillow away. I went back to a feather pillow and everything is ok now.

  35. I bought a ‘my pillow’. At first, it was nice. After about a week I noticed that it smelled. Real bad. Like someone pooped in the bed. I blamed the dog and then my wife. I washed the pillowcase and the pillow. Then dried it according to the instructions. Still, stinks so bad that I am going to throw it away after only two weeks.

  36. What a horrible pillow and a WASTE of money!
    Just another scam!
Zero neck support unless you fluff it all night long.

  37. Are these pillows filled with polyurethane? Isn’t that toxic? Who would sleep on a toxic pillow all night and not expect to have problems?

  38. Bought 2 My Pillows and really wanted to get a good night’s sleep. So disappointed in it. It was extremely lumpy and DVD flatten during the night. I woke up to fluff it up. Not at all what I think it was going to be. I kept my opinion to myself not saying anything to my husband. A few days later he said I really don’t sleep well with these pillows and wasn’t swayed by me. We took them back. Try them for yourself and decide.

  39. I drank the “My Pillow” koolaid and was excited to receive one for Christmas 2016. Holy cow, this was SO DISAPPOINTING!!!

It’s no better than a $5.00 wal-mart pillow! Do NOT waste your money!

    • Now I yell at that commercial when that idiot ripoff artist comes on TV!
He got me too, my lips are also stained by the koolaid

  40. Dissatisfied customer! | 16th January 2017 at 4:24 am | Reply

Bought one today at Marshalls. Laid on it for 2 hours and the smell gave me a headache not to mention the itchiness and rash.
    Returning it tomorrow.

  41. Bought the BOGO on their website and ordered a white one for me and green for my husband based on the information one enters for the correct pillow. After sleeping (or lack thereof) on the pillow for 4 nights, my neck hurts so bad, I have a constant dull headache, and I’m so damned tired from not getting a good night sleep! That said, my husband has no complaints and so far likes the pillow (except I’ve noticed his snoring has started again!). I can’t return mine without returning both (husband wants to keep it) so after dropping $117, I’ll be heading to to Bed Bath & Beyond this weekend to purchase the “Sleep for Success” pillow at $39.99. WTH, it’s only money after all…yay me (sarcasm intended)!

  42. What a crock of butt juice! This pillow is a piece of crap. I ordered one for me and one for my wife who has arthritis. I filled out the form asking what size shirt we wear. This fools you into thinking the pillow is somehow technologically advanced in some way and tailored to you. What a load. We received the pillows, fluffed in the drier as directed. It is a .99 cent Cotton cover with an additional.99 cents worth of cheap ass foam fill. I layer my head on it and it went straight to the mattress. I can’t believe the price we paid for this crap. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Go to Walmart and get you a dozen pillows for the same amount as these overpriced pieces of junk. No, I’m not a Trump hater or Lindel hater. I’m a hater of getting ripped off!

  43. I recently purchased two my pillows and pillowcases. I have awakened every morning with a pain in my neck since I began using them. I tried each one for a number of days with the same result. Today I returned them through my local UPS office in central Illinois to the factory in Minnesota. I paid $47.26 to send them by UPS ground. I almost fainted when I was given that price. Please do yourself a favor, and research all the comments about the pillow. You may save both yourself both pain and money.

  44. I am 73 years old & have woke up with a headache since my high school days when I first visited a specialist for my head aches. No cure has ever been found, chiropractic helps for 2 or 3 days, a massage helps for a week or so, but then the headaches are back. I purchased “My Pillow” 8 months ago & have only had 3 or 4 headaches since. For me it is exactly like Mike claims it is. I am not one to buy things advertised on TV, but am sure glad I bought a “My Pillow” Thanks Mike!!

  45. If you plan on returning these think again. They hung up on me 3 separate times after waiting at least 45 mins on the phone. And when you do talk to the customer service they are extremely rude. Another person playing the Christian card for quick money.

  46. Terrible product! Ordered 2 off TV promotion was only sent one. Called customer service & was told the mistake was my fault & charged another $35. The good luck with with getting a return merchandise authorization required for shipping back. My dog seems to like it. Highly suggest to file complaint with BBB & we might get justice by putting this lying piece of work out of business.

  47. Good for the 1st year or so.
Have to flip over and over all night to et cool.
    Middle is flat.
Hate having to fluff pillow in the night.

  48. Total piece of crap!! Mike Lindell is a lair and fraud. Not as advertised and grossly overpriced.

  49. Not worth the money. It feels like u are sleeping on cottage cheese. It will go in the spare room with other pillows that are uncomfortable and hot.

  50. The requirement that the pillow be washed before use to remove its bad smell just means that they don’t even bother to clean the dirty scrap, cheap foam fill that they shred up. These pillows cost less than a dollar to make and package, and are a blatant scam.

  51. Not worth it got two it doesn’t help I am so sorry I spent the money

  52. This guy should have to say on the bottom of the screen at least what this pillow contains. It should also be on which it is sent to your house in.

  53. I hope all you people who bought this scammers pillow know that I have a serious back and neck injury from a car accident. My neck and back vertebrae were severely fractured & now 9 surgeries later. I’m about half a million dollars in debt & nothing but our Social Security to live on which $1068 a month, when I worked at 9,10,11&12 from 9am to 9pm as a Salvation Army as bell ringer outside(you had to be outside in those days&I made75cents an hour.

At 15 I had a work permit from my high school & I was a cashier then a supervisor for Kmart. Then a Flight Attendant for 25 years. I should’ve come here illegally like a Lady I met at social security has come here illegally. Then married the 1st Father to her kids& now she she has taken the test to be a citizen & passed. She now has 7 children by 6 Fathers. All of whom are dead beat Dads. Her punishment is she gets more many then I do & its supposed to go to her kids but she sells takes order of what people need to buy off of her with the old food stamps, now its like a charge. You are all heroes you saved me from spending my money on this pillow now thanks to you I dont have to go through one more thing.

  54. Love the My Pillow! I’ve had it for over a year now. I will never switch to a different one.

  55. Has anyone else noticed that the plethora of commercials for my pillow are accompanied by a special code that varies with every viewing on every station and is rarely the same. I think perhaps Mike has sold his video to feed an omnivorous data gathering operation and the date, time, station etc are linked to the victims ordering the pillows…….. anyone else see this

    • It’s pretty standard practice to use different promo codes for different ads. That allows the seller to track which ads are generatimg the most sales and therefore which days/times/stations are most effective.

I have been on disability for 4 years and it’s hard enough just to try to have money left over for food, much less new pillows. I sit here and as I watch TV, I see all the commercials for meat’s and deserts to make. Oh how I would love to be able to do this stuff. And these pillows look like heaven. Seriously….. If I had an extra $500.00 a month after bills and some food I would be so happy. Me and my husband separated around 8 months ago after a 20 year marriage. I receive $1114.00 a month disability. Rent is $450.00 Water is around &50.00 lights around $60.00 Medicine about $120.00and car payment is $171.00.. That alone comes to $871.00. That doesn’t leave me very much to eat with. I never get a 3 course meal. Most people at least get a meat and 2 vegetables for supper. Supper is usually all that I have for the day and it usually consists of Spaghettio’s on mac and cheese. Maybe a.69 cent, half of pack of Buddig Turkey meat sandwich and a few chips. Husband only pays car ins. And cell phone bill. And he threatened to cut both of them off the other day. It’s soooo sad that I can’t even order at least one pillow for just myself. U don’t have any idea what this would mean to ME. Thank you so much for allowing me to vent to you. I ask only one thing, if you publish this please make it anonymous. Thanks you again so much. Still would love to have a pillow. And you should also make it into a couch cover, of course different colors because alot of people who are like me still can’t sleep in the bed alone. Give it a try and make them thick as possible. Go bless you all. Go with God.

  57. I bought one loved it so I bought one for my wife who loves it too!

I live in Windsor Ontario Canada and I purchased two pillows. Unfortunately, they charged me for the US exchange, It was shipped from 277 Hurberline Dr. Toronto Ontario Canada. I received it the next day.

Since I lived outside Detroit for 30 years, I am familiar with the exchange of money from the USDA and Canada.
If you bring a parcel to Canada, since your money is hire the goods would be less in Canada because your money is significantly highee. Consequently I want the exchange return to my bank account immediately, otherwise I will contact each government and lodge all appropriate complaints. When we bought our pillows. I ask to be the larger size, but I was told I could get them if I purchase the two smaller one. We are two senior citizen, we don’t need 4 pillows, consequently is this a fraudulent way of selling a pillow as it was presented to us. Are the receptionists on commission? Why you don’t tell your customer these pillows are made and China? I want the large pillow but I want to know the price. By the way I have already demonstrated these pillows to numerous member of our families and numerous friend.

  59. This is not a review, as I don’t own this product. I didn’t buy one BECAUSE of what I saw on the commercials and on the half-hour late-night infomercials. The claims and the animated graphics just seemed wildly unfounded, and I said to myself, “That’s nothing more than an ordinary, ten-dollar foam rubber pillow.” What I don’t understand is why a consumer would be required to wash the pillow before it’s used for the first time. Why aren’t they washed at the manufacturing facility, like any other, less expensive pillows? As an engineer and the holder of several patents, I also don’t understand how the “inventor” of this product was awarded a patent for chopping the fill material into three different sizes; it doesn’t require a dedicated process, and it can be done with equipment readily available to anyone who cares to purchase it (all that’s needed are three rotating spiked drums and a conveyer belt). As for the “scientific support measurement,” I’m not seeing any actual science here. The animated graphics which purportedly support these claims are, I suppose, impressive to the layman, but they do not, in any manner, prove anything. I can hire a graphic illustrator to make a video showing people how they can put a tornado into a Mason jar, and then release it later as a means of mowing their lawns. I could make another one demonstrating the health benefits of drinking molten lava aimed at men with prostate issues. These concepts are ridiculous, of course. However, by utilizing a constant, nationwide late-night advertising campaign, I’m equally certain that either or both of these ludicrous ideas would garner several thousand orders from people who simply WANT to beleive my false claims were true, especially if I included a few key words like “guaranteed,” “full refund” and “ten-year warranty.” Toss in a few testimonials from out-of-work actors playing “satisfied customers” and I’d be a millionaire in no time. Well, at least until the wrongful death suits began to pour in from the families of the poor souls who were naive enough to send me their money. While I don’t believe MyPillow will cause anyone to die, I am seeing complaints of headaches and other adverse health issues from consumers of this product. If you’re experiencing any adverse effects after buying and using MyPillow, the proper course of action is NOT to complain to the FTC or the Better Business Bureau. Rather, you’ll get much better results if you file your complaint with the United States Attorney General. If you’re going to throw your $50+ pillow away, send it along with your complaint. Believe me, it won’t take long to get the results you desire once her office receives enough pillows. I’d also recommend sending a photocopy of your written complaint to the United States Food and Drug Administration, and another to your state’s Attorney General. It’s the AG’s job to investigate fraud, and the more complaints they receive concerning a specific product, the more likely they are to launch an investigation. Likewise, the Food and Drug Administration will investigate products and their manufacturers when they receive a sufficient number of reports of similar or identical side effects caused by any product being sold to American consumers. Complaining on message boards like this one might make you feel better for a while, but knowing you had a significant hand in solving the problem for good is much more satisfying.

    • Excellent analysis and advice.

    • Good advice. I too looked at his patent. I have searched online to learn where he gets his foam from. He boast th blanket statement made in USA, and he may have a shredder, but where is the foam manufactured?

  60. By the way, I only paid $50 each through their website with a promotional code.

  61. I have owned 2 of these pillows for about 1 year. I have really liked them. I have chronic neck problems from a football injury in middle school (believe it or not ! It was pretty severe) and numerous car accidents. Degenerative disk issue. I continually have pain and pinched nerves that effect my right arm and hand.

I had used a couple of other memory foam pillows – my last one was a Tempurpedic which cost $120! It was as hard as concrete – it took a few months of standing on it and rolling it up and sitting and standing on it to finally soften it up some – what a nightmare (!)

My pillow has been quite good but doesn’t quite function the way they say in the commercials. They (he – as he now holds the pillow like it’s a baby, the whole thing IS a bit smarmy) that you can shape the pillow however you need it to and it will stay in that exact shape all night. I found this to be true and I can put it in the shape I need for my neck at any given time. HOWEVER, it doesn’t stay like that because a human being doesn’t stay stationary when sleeping. Everyone moves around. I wake up in the night and have to readjust it frequently and sometimes my neck is in a painful position. However, you can literally put it in any shape you need and it will be supportive.

I am writing this review because I recently washed the pillow for the first time and things have gone haywire! They smell VERY strong like bleach or something and I can’t tolerate it even being in my house! I thought is was something I did wrong (even though I followed the directions on their website) but I’m reading here that others have had this same result. I thought my detergent caused the smell, that i put too much (though I always put less than recommended. AND it’s Arm and Hammer fragrance free! Nothing else smells and I used it on my sheets right before) I have rewashed it without detergent numerous times, soaked it, forced 6 extra rinse and spin cycles and 6 extra spin cycles and it’s as bad as ever. It makes me sneeze almost instantly!

And, they won’t get dry after 3 hours at high heat. Even the smell coming out of the dryer exhaust outside came in my open window and my nose instantly became irritated and sneezy so that I had to close the window.

Well, this was long so I’ll leave it at that except to say I was forced to bring my Tempurpedic out of storage to use and slept quite well! I was surprised. May go back to it.

  62. You know the owner is a fraud as soon
as the add starts because he has conveniently
staged a crucifix to drape outside his satin
polyester shirt. He is implying he is a God
fearing man, when in fact he is a thief,
    Crook, and a homosexual.
He must have other theives backing him
to be able to afford all those commercials.
he is selling a $100 pillow that costs $2 to

    • Yes, and the idiot who “never got the connection between sleep and the pillow” is actually an officer of this fraudulent company.

  63. Wow…thanks for the review.

I’m in China and i don’t know how to buy the pillows product. Can you suggest for me?

  65. It’s worthless every time I see this commercial I want to scream don’t believe it

  66. This is one of the worst products I have tried
a pillow from a dollar store is as good or better this pillow and a lot cheaper . After ordering this pillow from a home shopping network because the host raving about how great this pills was it didn’t take long to see this pillow is a expensive joke . There were 2 pillows in the package I didn’t even wast my time putting the second pillow in the dryer. I couldn’t return this pillow fast enough don’t wast your money or your time .

  67. It’s only good for a boner if even. Save your money and get a blow up doll.

  68. I’m not even their customer, nor would I ever be, but they have been soliciting me by phone for 2 1/2 weeks (phone on caller ID comes up as “Minnesota Call 952-442-6199”) and will not stop the harassment. And this morning they also started sending me email. They have violated the Federal Do Not Call laws, and possibly they are randomly generating phone numbers, also a violation… it wouldn’t surprise me if they got my number from other scammers. They have been consistently rude and sarcastic with me, and hang up when I insist they stop calling me. Go online and research other complaints about what a toxic product they have, the poor quality, the underhanded sales tactics, charging credit cards without authorization, etc. Do not buy from My Pillow!!! They’re sleazy, and the product is terrible. Caveat emptor!

  69. My pillow took some getting used to, but I enjoyed the support it gave my jaw and neck. However, I washed it and dried by following instructions, and it has such a strong bleach-like smell, I can’t stand to sleep on them.

  70. What a piece of total shit!!!! Its nbot even a dam pillow, its a piece of cloth overstuffed with cheap sponge. You have got to be kidding me.If you even think of making this asshole profit another penny from this total scam your nuts.I tried this piece of shit pillow that a friend of mine bought and he got 2 of them.when I tried it I immediately tossed it wright into the garbage.I mnean it,I was so mad that a person like mike lindell can get away with not only making crap like this but being permited to sell it for a profit. Its cheaper than I even knew it would be.Mike please take this pillow and shove it straight up your scamming ass!

  71. My husband kept bugging me to order this supposedly “great pillow” so I paid $100 for one pillow and got one “free”. We were excited to get them. When I opened them I immediately felt scammed but we figured we would sleep on them a few days and give them a chance. My husband was so mad at how uncomfortable it was he flung it across the room. My ear goes numb after 10 minutes on it. We are going to send them back! We hate it so much it’s worth paying shipping to send back and waiting the month to get money back! I can’t believe this pillow was endorsed by anyone! Don’t waste your money! I wish I had read the real reviews before I ordered them!

  72. I have added several comments to these reviews. I want to be clear…I do like my pillow and I do not work for the company.
I just can’t believe how people love to crank about stuff without educating themselves and doing some research. Then they like to blame the company! Must be a result of the internet, anonymous culture.
Take some responsibility folks! If you have a true comment, back it up with facts. If you didn’t follow directions, you didn’t follow directions-don’t blame the product! Its not helpful!

  73. I LOVE this product! So few folks who actually like something take the time to review it! The pillow reminds me of a latex pillow I had and loved as a kid.

My advice: pay attention when the site tells you not to order the pillow size thinking it will get smaller or softer over time. These are very hearty pillows and the fill will not reduce! The site offers to help you choose the right size pillow for you-they mean it, because it seems most of the pillows returned are because folks think they are too hard or too full. I ordered a few different sizes and they are truly different levels for different type sleepers (back vs. stomach vs side).

I love mine. Choose the fill size based on what you like not on what you.currently buy and expect to reduce to. Use the help the company offers to fit you.

I was also got scammed with my pillow. I thought I was buying 2 pillows for $19.99 the conditions (fine print) on the website are crystal clear that you are only “trying” the pillow for this price then 30 days later they wack my credit card for addittional $159. I filed complaint with better buisiness buero stating who reads the fine print for a $19.99 purchase? No satisfaction and pillow sucked for $19.00 it’s worse for $179 total rip off and scam. Did not return because of the many reported case of no refund, and felt to just cut my lose without watting more money. I’m embarresed I got scamed. I hope Mike Lindell relapse to his drug days and turns into a vegtable. Screw that scum bag.

  75. MyPillow is one of the worst pillow I ever bought. It is not worth the money we pay for it. I think it only worth 8 dollars it is flat does not stay cool, in general it sucks.

  76. I purchased a standard size “My Pillow” over a year ago. I love it. I always woke w/headache, stuffy nose & itchy runny eyes. Just figured that I must have allergies. After sleeping on my pillow all these symptoms disappeared. I purchased my son & grandson the same size last year. Then ordered (2) sets from QVC for Christmas gifts for my daughter’s family. Theirs’ are flat! I had ordered a set of queen size & a set of king size. The first 3 I’d purchased were from a catalog & were standard size. My daughter’s trying to return the 2 sets to QVC and wants to exchange them. She’s hoping that perhaps it was just a “bad” batch! We always used down/feather pillows prior to these “My Pillows” & felt that may’ve been cause for the allergy symptoms. I’ll post again to inform everyone on the outcome of the exchange. Hope my daughter doesn’t have same issues as I’ve seen posted here!

First of all, during the infomercial, the inventor states that there are two Ulnas in the neck that this pillow supports. There are no Ulnas in the neck. The ulna is the medial bone in the lower arm. (Below elbow. They actually connect the forearm to the humerus. So hearing this sent up many red flags. He also states that the pillow supports c1 and c2. These vertebrae are so high up that it not possible for a pillow to support them. The vertebral arteries are sometimes compressed which causes headaches. But before you claim to be an expert… Please study anatomy and physiology. I would be more than happy to help with that.

Secondly, this pillow gives me worse headaches. It is too full and has little to no give. I followed the instructions to the letter. The foam inside smells funny and it won’t conform comfortably to my head and neck.

I will not be spending anymore money on this pillow until you make changes. And next time you are on air, please know your anatomy. I was embarrassed for you.
The inside of this pillow is just different sizes of cut up foam. Total rip off.

It gets hot and the Pam pieces smell and are hard. I got a rash on my cheek. I will never ever buy me again.

I bought a My Pillow. It does NOT stay cool. I have to flip to the cool side. It DOES go flat. Have to fluff often during the night Still have numbness in arm and hand. Hasn’t helped that a bit. Would not recommend it especially since it is so pricy.

  81. I have tried this My Pillow for about a year. I wake up multiple times and my neck kills me every time I use this pillow. My husband who can sleep on anything doesn’t like this pillow either. Disappointed majorly. I rarely buy things based in an infomercial now I know why.

  82. Brian Russell | 26th May 2013 at 3:06 pm | Reply

Just a few words about the my pillows, we ordered (3) pillows online (king size). When we received them for a try out overnight (1) night!! no different than any other pillow that you can buy at any local store and a lot less money, we paid for them w/ a credit card and after billing me, we decided to return them. We called to get a return number which they gave me and returned it. Now after (3) weeks w/ no credit back on our card I called them and was told it takes a month for credit. Boy it sure didn’t take that long for them to get there’s. Don’t buy, its a scam to get rich….. + return cost too.

  83. I, too, made the mistake of buying one of these, thinking it would help with my stiff neck. I have not noticed that it smelled, or became hot–Those weren’t the problems I had. For the first couple of months I thought it worked great. I followed the washing instructions that said to wash/dry every few months. Now, less than a year later, it has become as hard as a brick. I wake up multiple times in the night to try to fluff it and in no time it’s feeling rock hard again. I thought this was supposed to be so comfortable I’d sleep right through the night. Not when I have to wake up a dozen times to “adjust” it! Very maddening. This is the first time I”ve ever bought an infomercial product, and will probably be the last, considering the price. Total rip-off. Anyone got any suggestions for pillows that actually work and don’t cost a fortune?

    • I’m glad I read these reviews. For me the best pillow has always been a feather & down combination, so I guess I will stick with it. If it works, why change it, right? Thanks for the review.

  84. Debbie Craven | 2nd March 2013 at 5:57 am | Reply

I received My Pillow for Christmas. I had a neck injury 18 years ago and have been searching for a pillow that would support my head while side lying as well as just my neck while sleeping on my back.

I tried the standard pillow for about a month and it was too thick which prohibits back sleeping without keeping the neck bent forward. I awoke regularly with a headache.

I wrote to the My Pillow people to tell them it was too thick and to see if they would adjust the pillow and they suggested I wash and dry it to fluff it up. I wrote and explained it was TOO THICK already they simply offered a return. Hardly a comfort guarantee. They stated that if I opened the pillow to take stuffing out the warranty would be void. Oh well, better than a headache and empty wallet.

I couldn’t stand it anymore so I did just that last night. I was appalled to see that their “patented 3 piece interlocking fill” is chopped up foam, with absolutely no pattern, no interlocking and no 2 pieces are the same shape or size.

What a ripoff. It is a lumpy, overstuffed chopped foam pillow. They should just sell it as an overstuffed shredded foam pillow. Consumers should note that none of the claims are based in real studies and are anecdotal.

    Consumers beware.

  85. Patrick Dillon | 1st March 2013 at 3:40 pm | Reply

Absolutely terrible pillow, especially for the $70+ they charge for the pillow. Lumped badly. Hot. After several nights use, finally got used to it. However, before long it became very hard and lumpy. I called customer service requesting replacement saying pillow failed. They then told me about a complex maintenance program which required placing the pillow in the washing machine following specific procedures. No where is this mentioned in the sales video clip nor in the instructions for care. Company refused to refund money. In fact, they were very rude. They basically said take a long walk on a short pier. 10 year warranty was worthless. They refused to honor the warranty. They claimed I did not follow the maintenance requirements.

I bought a replacement pillow at Target for less than $20. It is super!! 100 times better than the worthless “My Pillow” and it doesn’t require a complex re-conditioning process every few weeks.

    Do NOT buy this MyPillow!!

    Patrick Dillon

    • When claiming a product “failure”, any company will require first that you followed the maintainence plan that is recommended, it was layed out on the website.
That is reasonable and legal protection.

      • It’s crumbled up FOAM you friggin fool! What kind of “maintenance plan” could it possibly have?

      • Mary, you are clearly a My Pillow employee trying to make people look stupid because they have complaints. Your employers pillow is garbage and they use nothing but misleading and frankly illegal tactics in their advertising and refunds “guarantee”

  86. I am a customer and I do not know what you mean by mail? I also do not have a website. But I have a complaint Or should I say a question. What is their return policy. I sent a Pillow back ( which I did not like at all) Jan. 8th. when I called they said they only received it on the 23rd. Now they say they have till Feb. 23rd to give me credit. Seems quite long.

  87. Pillow is scam

Like other person , I had to push little bit of fill together in lump to make a place to put head. Feels like it is missing product. First time I put head on pillow, my head went right to mattress, like pillow wasn’t there. Cant believe Imus is endorsing this. Thought he was smart.

  88. Total scam…does nothing it claims to do. My $15 Laura Ashley pillow provides much better side sleeper support. Doesn’t cool at all in fact I awoke perspiring at the neck. Chemical smell is so strong it gave me a headache before morning. King size ordered is actually 1/4 ” larger then normal standard/queen size. I gave it two nights then tossed in the garbage where it belongs as an expensive lesson to NEVER by an infomercial product again. I wasn’t going to spend another $30 to return as I was sure I would never see a refund as promised. This guy who supposedly designed this pillow is a fraud. Save your money…I wish I had.

    • I suggest not sleeping on the pillow before you either wash it or put it in the dryer with a dryer sheet. It does have an odor when you first open it but it will go away if you wash or dry it first.

  89. I purchased My Pillow at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Paid $49.00. I have not been able to get comfortable with it at all. It looks nice on my bed and can be easily fluffed up. However, I sleep on my side and I hear crackling noises when my ear is pressed to it. Also, it feels very lumpy and there is still an acrid smell from the memory foam even after two weeks. Maybe others like it well enough to keep it, but I don’t think this pillow is worth the money. I plan to return it this morning. Luckily, Bed, Bath and Beyond has an excellent return policy and I don’t anticipate having any problems.

    • Yes, Just got mine in BBB as well. It’s going back. Just a bunch of small balls of foam. Shame. Another get rich scam. I’ll stick to my Herringtons foam pillow I have had for years.

      • The picture in the add and website clearly show its chopped up foam! How could that be a surprise? Thats what makes the product different.

  90. MY PILLOW SUCKS!! Run as fast as you can away from this company. Lousy customer service….if you don’t like the pillow you will pay for shipping costs both ways…My pillows were lumpy hard and smelled bad…

  91. Is this pillow still as bad as all these reviews say it is? Has anything changed in the mean time to correct problems listed above. For those that did like it, do you still feel the same way now that you have had it for awhile?

  92. My pillow what a scam, Worse pillow ever! I called for a refund the girl told me I have the girls level I said well you got this moron Michael J Lindell with his corny ass mustache hugging the same pillow on my box! Wrong level they said the same to my sister and her fiance they ordered the wrong level! Pillow sucks rather sleep on a Rock

  93. I want to start out by saying “Don’t Do It” !…The worst pillow ever !….I bought one for me and one for my wife. Both woke up the first night with neck pain and headaches. We got the recommended size pillows for ourselves. We will be sending them back after not even a full nights use ! Just found out today they sell them at Bed Bath & Beyond for more then half the price we paid online. Wow ! What a crime….Checked the company on the BBB Bureau website and has over 32 complaints in the last 12 months..I’m sure you will be able to get them even cheaper at the store when they go on sale because no one is buying them. If you want to try them go to the store and at least you can return them without having to pay shipping charges to send them back , and you will return them…You’ve been warned..Happy Holidays to all…

I have purchased 2 of your larger King sized My pillows for my wife & I to use. Mine was too hard so I had to open it to reduce some of the stuffing. I was shocked to see the contents inside. What I found was just chopped up foam. What a Rip Off these pillows are, for the Huge price we paid for them. You should be ashamed of yourself for Ripping Off people all over this country.

Now you’re sending people e-mail to Rip them off again. What nerve you have. In my opinion, you are no less than a Money Sucking Scum Bag with a lot of dishonest money. I think there needs to be a My Pillow Rip Off Website put up to show America what a Scam you are running. Also, I bet 60 minutes would love to hear the story of your Big Scam. I am so tired of people like you taking advantage of other people just to make money off them. You better enjoy your money while you’re here now because you are probably going to Hell when this life is over, for taking advantage and ripping off your fellow mankind.

P.S. These pillows are honestly worth no more than $15-$20 each!

    • AmyAlwaysInPain | 17th August 2013 at 4:22 pm | Reply

Don’t forget how they misinform us about the anatomy it helps. There are no Ulnas in our necks.

    • Of course its chopped up foam! Thats what they show you on the website and comercial! Did you not see that?

    • @John

Agreed. Lindell is a scam artist. I predict he’ll be in jail inside of 10 years for tax evasion or some such thing. He’s a modern day Don Lapre

  95. Save your money! This My Pillow is so bad that it prompted me to write my first ever online review. Totally dissatisfying experience all around.

  96. Bought MyPillow @Alco, love it. Stays put, doesn’t go flat. Never noticed an odor. My back feels so much better even sleeping on my back. Did not put pillow in dryer. Perfect just as it is.

    • I bought one My Pillow for about 50 bucks at Walmart. I hated it for about three nights but decided to give it a chance. For the last six months, I have used it as my main pillow. I like it. Never has gone flat. Never had an odor. Gets hot as most pillows do, but not nearly as bad as any other that I have had. Haven’t tried washing it, but have never washed any pillow and I have had many of all types (and since I shower often, don’t see any need to wash a pillow . . . I just wash the pillow case and zip-up cover I put on all of my pillows of all types). Best for back sleepers who like to elevate their upper back a little with more than one pillow. Not good if use just one pillow just for your head because it holds its fluff well and crooks the neck too much. I’d say buy and try.

  97. I have to say that my wife and I are very unhappy with this MyPillow. I think we had it for about a year and the thing just keeps on getting worst. I emailed My-Pillow and they said to wash it and try the way they sent me the instructions. I did that and tried it for a while and it did not get better. We wake up with sore necks and backs. When we first got the pillows they worked fine. Way past the 60 day return they started to get bad.

I was told if I had more problems after washing that I should call them. When I asked to speak to the person that sent me the email I was told she did not talk to anyone. Well it turns out all they want to do is replace them. They said that mu wife may need a different level of pillow but would not let us exchange for a different level. All I can say is buyer beware. My dog laid on the My Pillow and within 5 min he got up and never went back.

  98. Bought this MyPillow at Bed Bath and Beyond. Initially after laying on it, seemed pretty good. Woke up in the morning with the worst nightmare, which I believe was caused by the smell, which I hadn’t noticed till I woke up in the morning. Then I heard your suppose to wash it first. Good luck with that since it is basically foam rubber chunks, try drying that in the drier. Long story short , my wife and I took turns using it for several nights, after that we both agreed and brought it back.

I also bought one My Pillow at Bed Bath and Beyond and I am taking it back today which by the way, I was told that if I save the box and precept I could bring it back anytime.

I have used this My pillow and I find it to be HOT to sleep on. Plus I now have shoulder and arm pain… which the ad claims this pillow will get rid of. I don’t find that it supports the neck at all.

  99. My DOG will not even sleep on this pillow…

  100. I purchased a MyPillow based on the Radio endorsement for my achy back and neck. While my back no longer aches, my neck is still in the morning to the point that i cannot place a phone between my ear and shoulder.

Not comfortable, nothing special. Will be trying out other companies. Especially since my email to customer service went unanswered.

Buyers beware. Or buy mine to be sold online soon for $40!

    • Worst rip off u will ever buy, my pillow is terrible. Biggest rip off I’ve ever purchased.

      • I am sad to say that this pillow – mine for a side sleeper – is no better than a $2 pillow I bought at a Target store. It has done nothing to alleviate my neck pain. In addition, I do not like a pillow that causes me to feel I am smothering because of its softness. Finally, the smell is unpleasant and I can feel each piece of foam. One good point – my chihuahua loves it.

  101. They’ve sold over a million pillows. And most likely the reason why you guys are so unhappy, is because you ordered the wrong support level. And the smell of the pillow? Did you wash it when you received it like the instructions said so? Its the new pillow smell. It goes away fast. And when you make the order, it says in the ‘Terms and Conditions’ that when you return or exchange your pillow/s, you receive 100% of the purchase price, except shipping costs and you have to pay to ship it back.

Why don’t you guys read the terms and conditions? Smh.

  102. I have 4 and I suggest you try it. Use coupon code MYPILLOW and save on costs and shipping!

  103. I’ve been thinking about buying the MyPillow for my husband and went onto the site to “get fitted”, and put 1 into My Cart to order later. After ordering his size, I also ordered 2 travel sizes for me & our daughter. Then I decided to see what the public had to say…..thank God I did!

Everybody’s review were very helpful, especially the ones regarding returning the pillows. I went back to the website to see how much shipping would be to return the items. Well…..not only is there NOTHING to click on to read about MyPillow’s Return Policy, but clicking on the “60 Day Money Back Guarantee” golden seal reveals two reviews by Satisfied Customers! Go figure!

In conclusion, any company that isn’t willing to add their Return Policy on their site “isn’t worth their salt”! Thanks to all of you for your HONEST posts… saved us from spending $160 on 3 pillows!

    God Bless 🙂

I just wanted to add my review of the My Pillow to the other negative reviews here. I agree it’s the worst pillow ever!! Lumpy, hot, stiff, smells like chemicals. Gave me a headache and neck-ache. Returned it today, will listen closer to reviews before buying anything online again!!! Don’t buy this pillow–it’s awful!!!

  105. Thanks to everyone who posted here…almost ordered the pillow for myself and my wife. So glad I checked here first. I would have ordered anyway to try it out, but I’m not spending $20 to ship it back if I don’t like it. If local stores carried it, I may try it, that way I could return it. I’ll just go to one of the high-end Dept stores and get some nice pillows there. They only last a few years, but better than being ripped off!

  106. My Pillow is lumpy, smells bad, is not at all comfortable to use, no matter how I adjust it, and I awakened with a stiff neck and headache. It reminds me of the original shredded foam pillows that came out in the early 60’s. Technology hasn’t improved in 50 years?!!! I will attempt to call tomorrow, for guidance re: returning the 2 pillows, and after reading the reviews, I expect problems. They would be overpriced @ $5.99 each!

  107. I ordered two. One for my wife and one for me. We love our new pillows and have recommended them to others.

  108. Absolutely horrible. Would like to tell that fat ass on tv that his product is garbage. Pillow I received was too small and I got deathly sick from the chemical smell it put out. Customer service gives me the run around and will not help. SCAM!!!

  109. Absolutely horrible. Would like to tell that far as on tv that his product is garbage. MyPillow I received was too small and I got deathly sick from the chemical smell it put out. Customer service gives me the run around and will not help. SCAM!!!

Has anyone tried the MyPillow, does it really work?

    • To answer the above MyPillow questions:

I have tried the pillow, and sorry to say, it was not helpful. The web site states that if you wear a small sized tee shirt you should order the smallest pillow. What I received was a partially filled case. To get any filling under my head, I had to wad it up into the middle, leaving empty ends (after fluffing in the dryer for 15 minutes as instructed). There was also a very strong chemical smell, so it wouldn’t be usable for several days while it aired out, similar to memory foam products. I’m guessing this pillow is made from ground up memory foam chunks.

When I called the company, they were quick to give me a return number, but the return shipping is at my expense. They weren’t the least bit interested in the problem, and no offer was made to send a larger pillow. Not exactly a no risk guarantee is it?

      • I want to thank you so much for your post. Have horrible neck problems and almost ordered. Just checked on it to see if it was good, you are the second person that had almost identical posts(went back to check if the same ). 2 out of 2 horrible results and you’ve saved me a huge headache and money I don’t have for this. Charlatan! 🙂 thanks

        • I was about to buy a couple and was smart enough to check reviews. from what two customers said I’m glad I didn’t order them.

I bought one put it in a pillow case woke up with a headache.
In the morning I noticed a strong smell so I washed the pillow.
The smell became even worse it smelled like acetone!
I asked a few family members to smell the pillow to make sure it just wasn’t me.
My 25 year old daughter said the same thing I was thinking it smells like nail polish remover.
Tossed it in the trash can wasn’t worth taking back to the store.

That’s the smell that I haven’t been able to name but you and your daughter are right! It DOES smell like Acetone.

    • I would like to return MyPillow. It doesn’t work for me. Please give me the return process.

    • I bought one an I will just say it’s the very worst i’v ever sleep on in my whole life, it’s one of the worst mistakes I ever made in my life! There should be a lawsuit over this lying false advertising bullshit there is out there! If it comes to a lawsuit I guarantee you iam on board for it!!!! Don’t buy one of these at all, beware!!!!

  111. Is MyPillow really the healthiest and most comfortable pillow available?

Does MyPillow really support the vertebrae and cervical nerves?

Is MyPillow dust mite resistant, washable and non-allergenic like it claims?

Does MyPillow really not heat up and remains cool all night naturally?

Is MyPillow recommendable for even people suffering from shoulder pain and neck pain?

    • Of course not. It is just a bag of scrap unwashed, smelly chunks of plastic foam. Foam is an insulator, so it would retain your body heat, not cool you. The Amac should be ashamed to sponsor ads for such an obvious and documented scam.

      • Agree. It’s an extravagant amount of money to pay for a pillow. My husband insisted on having one claiming it would help him to get a better night’s sleep. What a crock. And a definite waste of money. I bought pillows at WalMart for $7.97 each and I’m completely satisfied.

      • Couldn’t agree more….i bought this pillow and i swear i flip it more times than i can count each night. It goes flat within minutes. It does not disperse the heat as advertised and it certainly doesn’t hold it’s shape. In all seriousness, this pillow is falsely advertised and it’s just a horrible pillow, period.

    • Just recently bought it from Auckland home show.
Its a false and misleading advertising, my one went lumpy within 2 weeks,
Please don’t waste you money. IT DOES NOT WORK.
